Camden, NJ- On May 18, 2018, nonprofit organizations and Wells Fargo team members gathered together for the 2018 Community Relations Summit and Networking Event. This summit, hosted at the Salvation Army KROC Center, included a discussion on leveraging Wells Fargo resources, strengthening partnerships, encouraging philanthropy, and even branding through social media.

TD Bank Awards $20,000 Grant to LAEDA

Camden, NJ – Starting a business in South Jersey can be difficult, but thanks to the TD Bank Foundation and its support of the Latin American Economic Development Association, Inc. (LAEDA), it got a lot easier. “We’ve been partnering with TD Bank for more than 10 years. Their continued support allows us to offer our programming to the residents of the City of Camden and now South Jersey,” said Raymond L. Lamboy, President & CEO. “We are proud of this partnership and looking forward to expanding on it in the future.”

WBC Hosts Google Livestream Event: Growing Your Google Search Presence and Making Meaningful Connections

Camden, NJ- May 2, 2018 – In celebration of National Small Business Week, the Women’s Business Center (WBC), now in its third year, brought back EDTP alumni for networking and an education session about how they can grow their Google search presence. Business owners from different industries – including a hair salon owner, an owner of two Mexican restaurants, a natural hair stylist and a tax preparation consultant. LAEDA’s alumni-entrepreneurs gathered at the organization’s computer lab for a live-stream webinar presented by Google on how to list your business online and the most effective ways of doing so.
