Camden, NJ- On Wednesday, January 11, 2023 LAEDA opened its' doors of their training room to welcome the Women’s Business Academy Session 95. The students in the class have demonstrated their desire, willingness and ability to move their businesses forward in a meaningful way as a result of the 9-week intensive training course.

LAEDA's Team Building Through the Salvation Army Camden Kroc Center Toy Shop Program

Camden, NJ- On Friday, December 16, 2022 LAEDA and its team went to the Salvation Army Camden Kroc Center to participate and volunteer at their Toy Shop Program for over 1,700 families. Team building is an effective tool and it provides employees with a sense of belonging to the organization. When teams collaborate and come together they not only learn more about each other, but more about the organization as well and thus leading to managing more operations in the office, resolving conflicts, engaging employees even more, creating an even more positive atmosphere and tons more benefits to follow.

Citizens Bank Pitch Competition and Award Ceremony

Camden, NJ- On December 8th, 2022, LAEDA Women’s Business Center hosted an intimate alumni networking event to present the winners of the second year Small Business Pitch Competition sponsored by Citizens Bank. The competition was open to LAEDA alumni who successfully completed either the Entrepreneurial Development Training Program (EDTP) or Women’s Business Academy (WBA). The prizes awarded totaled $10,000, and were awarded to three individuals, two (2) prizes were awarded to past EDTP alumni and one (1) prize was awarded to a recent WBA graduate.
