Atlantic City, NJ – On February 20, 2020, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) hosted its Small Business Resources Event at Stockton University in Atlantic City. The event showcased the various development resources available to small businesses in Atlantic City and the surrounding counties.

Atlantic City, NJ – City Hall – On February 24, 2020, the Office of the Mayor of Atlantic City hosted its first information session for its new Small Business Academy (“The Academy”) expressly for city residents. Mayor Marty Smalls Sr. was on hand to greet interested city residents and share his vision for the program.

Camden, NJ- As part of its continued commitment to the community, LAEDA hosted the five week Quick Start Series in both English and Spanish at Salvation Army KROC Center. The program began on February 20th with the ABC’s of Stating a Small Business and will continue throughout March 19th with Business Plan I, Business Plan II, and Marketing, and Credit Management.

Latino Motion with Bert Lopez is a weekly interview show, highlighting issues impacting the local South Jersey Latino Community, while advancing understanding of Latino cultural heritage and its contributions to society.

Camden, NJ- On Thursday February 13, 2020 our LAEDA’s Entrepreneurial Development Training Program (EDTP) and Women’s Business Academy Alumni got together for our Alumni Networking Event: Alternative Ways to Finance Your Business. In this networking event our Alumni learned the fundamentals of accessing capital through various methods other than traditional lending.
