Galloway, NJ- LAEDA WBC Program Manager, Sophie Werner sat down with Latino Motion host Bert Lopez to speak about the LAEDA Women’s Business and its services. Latino Motion with Bert Lopez is a weekly interview show, highlighting issues impacting the local South Jersey Latino Community, while advancing understanding of Latino cultural heritage and its contributions to society.
Mr. Lopez and Ms. Werner discussed the work of LAEDA’s Women’s Business Center, established in 2016, to assist women throughout Southern New Jersey in overcoming the additional barriers they face as they go into business. The two not only spoke about disparities amongst minority women-owned businesses but also how the LAEDA Women’s Business Center is tasked with addressing these issues. The center does this by providing relevant and impactful business training and counseling that builds relationships grounded in understanding the hopes and dreams of the clients.
