Camden, NJ- As part of a statewide Nurture NJ campaign, First Lady Tammy Murphy hosted a Family Festival on March 2nd at Octavius V. Catto Family School in Camden. The Camden Family Festival, which was funded by the Nicholson Foundation, was hosted in collaboration with the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers (CCHP) and featured nearly 100 participating community organizations.

Camden, NJ- On March 13th, LAEDA concluded the third cohort of its Women’s Business Academy (WBA). Established in 2016 in conjunction with the Women’s Business Center, this nine-week training program closely emulates the Entrepreneurial Development Training Program (EDTP) by partnering the students with a business counselor and collaboratively writing a business plan that will guide them to business success.

Camden, NJ- On March 29, 2019, entrepreneurs of Food Trucking 101 Program had a valuable evening learning the essentials of owning a Food Trucking business by instructor and owner of Cow and the Curd, Rob Mitchell. In this class, the entrepreneurs learned the importance of all the ingredients that go into owning a Food Trucking business. Mr. Mitchell discussed topics ranging from branding and mentorship to capturing the customer’s attention and hiring employees.
