Bridgeton, NJ—Ray Lamboy, President & CEO of LAEDA was invited to speak at the Bridgeton Area Chamber of Commerce – Hispanic Business Committee event in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month held at the Green Olive Restaurant on October 18, 2022.
Each Hispanic History Month has a theme, and this year’s theme was “Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation.” In line with this theme, the topic of the event was Hispanic Heritage & Inclusivity for a Better Bridgeton.
“Community leaders and business leaders are here today to show support for the diversity of this region, which brings innovation and new enterprise to southern New Jersey. LAEDA has been supporting diversely-led businesses in southern New Jersey since 1987, and is proud to continue to do so here in Bridgeton,” Ray shared.
In addition to Ray Lamboy, the CEO of P.R.A.C. Southern NJ, Ralph Padilla spoke and shared about the efforts of the Puerto Rican Action Committee to support residents of southern New Jersey.
“P.R.A.C. was organized in 1971 by a group of Salem County Agricultural Workers for the purpose of advancing, promoting and enhancing social, economic, cultural and educational opportunities for Hispanic citizens” (pracnj.com).
