Camden, NJ- LAEDA wrapped up its 2024 business training programs in Cumberland County with a remarkable finale on Tuesday, November 12th, showcasing significant community impact across Cumberland County. Throughout the year, LAEDA delivered eight comprehensive workshops in partnership with key local organizations, including five training sessions in Bridgeton through the Bridgeton Urban Economic Zone (UEZ) and three workshops in Cumberland in collaboration with the Cumberland Empowerment Zone Corporation (CEZC).
The training sessions focused on essential topics such as credit management, bookkeeping, business budgeting, and networking strategies. More than 50 local business owners participated in these sessions, culminating in an evening celebration that recognized their commitment to growth and learning.
Special recognition goes to Stephanie Gonzalez of the Bridgeton UEZ, Minerva Alvarado of the Bridgeton Chamber of Commerce, and Cameron Hudson of Hopeloft for their tireless efforts in connecting business owners with valuable resources and solutions.
On the Vineland side, we extend our gratitude to Denise Jackson and Shirley DeLeon of the CEZC for not only providing funding but also delivering much-needed education to business owners in an area that greatly benefits from both.
