Cherry Hill, NJ – March 9, 2026 – Local business owners gathered at the Cherry Hill Public Library for an informative workshop titled “Digital Marketing for Busy Business Owners: How to Show Up Online and Get Results.” The training hosted by the Latin American Economic Development Association (LAEDA) focused on helping entrepreneurs simplify and strengthen their digital marketing efforts.
The session designed for busy entrepreneurs who want to improve their online presence but often struggle to find the time to manage multiple marketing channels. During the workshop, participants explored the current digital marketing landscape and discussed the tools and strategies that can make the greatest impact for small businesses.
The presentation provided an overview of four core digital marketing channels every small business should understand: websites, Google Business Profile, social media, and email marketing. These channels serve as the foundation for helping businesses build visibility, connect with customers, and communicate their services online.
At the start of the session, attendees introduced themselves and shared their biggest marketing challenges. Many participants expressed interest in updating their existing websites, while others were looking to create a website for their business for the very first time. Social media was another popular topic among attendees, many of whom were eager to learn how to use these platforms more effectively to reach customers.
For several business owners in the room, digital marketing tools can feel overwhelming. The workshop acknowledged that many entrepreneurs are not highly technical and focused on providing practical guidance that anyone can follow.
“Many small business owners know they need to be online, but they’re not always sure where to start,” said one workshop facilitator. “Our goal was to simplify digital marketing and show that even small steps—like updating your website or claiming your Google Business Profile—can make a big difference.”
Rather than focusing on complex or time-consuming strategies, the training emphasized realistic marketing habits that business owners can incorporate while still managing the daily demands of running their companies. Participants discussed common digital marketing mistakes, how to avoid them and keeping information consistent across online platforms.
“Business owners wear many hats, and marketing is often just one of them,” the facilitator added. “By focusing on a few key channels and using them consistently, entrepreneurs can build a stronger online presence without feeling overwhelmed.”
By the end of the session, attendees walked away with a clearer understanding of where to focus their marketing efforts and how to take the next steps toward building a more effective and consistent digital presence.
The workshop is part of LAEDA’s ongoing commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and small business owners by providing accessible training, resources, and guidance to help their businesses grow and succeed.
