Joshua Miller-Myers, Secretary

Joshua Miller-Myers joined the board of LAEDA in October of 2018. Joshua Miller-Myers is a professional fundraiser who has devoted his professional career to creating social impact through philanthropy. He served in both government and non-profit positions since 2010, and strives to help organizations thrive through sustainable development and fundraising operations. He has experience on a full spectrum of fundraising needs from grants, to individual giving, event planning, and donor stewardship. Currently, Josh serves as Strategy Development Manager at Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC). In this role, he helps coordinate development and fundraising activities for the regional public health institute that serves close to 350,000 clients annually through more than 350 programs in 70 locations.


Prior to joining PHMC, Josh spent over eight years in the nonprofit and government sectors, focusing primarily on issues related to housing, public health, and financial inclusion in both Camden and Philadelphia. Josh currently co-chairs the Membership Committee with the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Greater Philadelphia Chapter. He is a former board member with The Spruce Foundation and a former fellow with The Center for Progressive Leadership.

Josh earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Villanova University and became a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) in August 2017.
