A Moment with Our EDTP Graduate – Rosie F. Brown – Rosie’s Real Estate Solutions

Rosie F. Brown is the owner of Rosie’s Real Estate Solutions, which offers listing coordination, transaction coordination, marketing & administration, notary public and more. We had a chance to sit down with her to ask about her experience with entrepreneurship and LAEDA’s training programs.

  1. LAEDA: Entrepreneurship is a very challenging path to take with many different possible directions. What made you decide to become an entrepreneur?

“Entrepreneurship was not something I always planned for; it found me after a major life shift. I spent 15 years building a career at DCP&P. After leaving for another opportunity, I was unexpectedly laid off. It was a difficult moment, but it also made me reflect: What do I really want my life to look like?

In 2022, I started a Mobile Notary business, but quickly realized that it was not the direction I truly wanted to go in. I wanted something that felt more aligned with my skills and passion. I craved the freedom to design a life and business on my own terms, one that allowed me to serve others with excellence, stay connected to professionals in various industries, and still be present for my family.

A week after I finished the Women’s Business Academy (WBA), March 2024, I saw a young lady named Tiffany Haynes on Facebook, talking about her Transaction Coordination (TC) business, and in that moment, something clicked. I knew I had found my calling. It was the perfect blend of organization, client service, and behind-the-scenes magic that I had always loved. That moment was the start of Rosie’s Real Estate Solutions, and since then I have not looked back.”

2. LAEDA: Why did you choose your industry?

“Once I learned about transaction coordination, it felt like everything made sense. It perfectly combined my love for organization, helping others, and creating a sense of calm during high-stress times. Real estate professionals are under so much pressure, and I knew I could make a real difference by offering reliable, structured support behind the scenes. It felt like the career I had been searching for all along.

What really drew me in was the opportunity to be the steady, dependable force that helps keep deals on track. I have always had a knack for the details, making sure nothing falls through the cracks, communicating clearly, and staying ten steps ahead. In this industry, that kind of support isn’t just helpful, it’s essential. And knowing I can take that weight off an agent’s shoulders and help guide their clients to the closing table, that’s incredibly rewarding.

After discovering the role through Tiffany Haynes on Facebook, I enrolled in her TC Mentorship program, and that decision changed everything. Through her guidance and mentorship, I became a Certified Transaction Coordinator and found a community of like-minded professionals who genuinely support each other. We’re not just classmates, we’re collaborators. Whether we’re sharing resources, answering questions, or even hiring one another as our businesses grow, there’s a deep sense of encouragement and connection in the alumni group that I truly value. Having that kind of mentorship and ongoing support has been a huge part of my journey and gives me even more confidence as I build my own path in this field.”

3. Tell me about your experience while attending WBA. What have the major takeaways been from the program? Have you had any “Ah-ha!” moments? How did the program help you?

“Women’s Business Academy (WBA) came into my life at the perfect time. It was not just about learning business skills, it was about building confidence, gaining a community, and truly believing in my vision. One of my biggest “ah-ha” moments was realizing that success does not mean doing everything alone. WBA taught me how to build systems, ask for help, and surround myself with the right people. It made me realize that entrepreneurship is not just about having a great idea, in fact it is about having the mindset, structure, and support to turn that idea into something sustainable.

A huge part of that transformation was, thanks to, the amazing staff and instructors who led the program. They were not just teaching from theory, they were real professionals, in the trenches, sharing wisdom that came from lived experiences. Every session felt like a masterclass, not only in business strategy, but also in leadership, resilience, and self-belief. Their energy, encouragement, and generosity made a huge impact on me, and I am so grateful for the role they played in helping me grow.

Also, I cannot say enough about my classmates. They were such an important part of the journey. We showed up for each other, asked tough questions, shared laughs (and a few tears), and reminded one another that we were not in this alone. That collective support gave me the courage to keep going on hard days and celebrate the wins, no matter how small. The relationships I built through WBA continue to inspire and motivate me every day.”

4. LAEDA: Tell me about your journey on the road to business start-up. What have been some of the challenges, successes, failures, etc.?

“My journey has been full of growth and resilience. After my first business venture as a Mobile Notary did not feel like the right fit, I had to face the tough truth that sometimes, pivoting is the best next step. That was a hard moment; it felt like a failure at the time, but it turned out to be the foundation for something better.

Launching my real estate support business has come with its own set of challenges. I have not secured clients yet, and that’s tested my patience and confidence more than once. There have been moments of self-doubt, slow seasons, and lots of behind-the-scenes work that no one sees. Learning how to market myself, create processes, and wear all the hats has been overwhelming at times, especially while balancing other responsibilities.

But despite the bumps, I see progress. I am gaining real-world experience working part-time as an Admin at a real estate brokerage, which is helping me stay plugged into the industry. I am learning the ins and outs, building relationships, and preparing myself for the clients I know are coming. Every challenge has been a lesson in persistence, and every step, even the small or messy ones, is moving me closer to my dream.”

5. Could you tell me a little about where your business is today?

“Today, my business is officially launched, and I am focused on building relationships, sharpening my skills, and setting a strong foundation for long-term success. I have been intentionally connecting with real estate professionals, learning from their experiences, and getting a clearer picture of how I can best serve them. Some of the conversations I have had have opened doors to new connections, and I am grateful for every opportunity to learn and grow.

I am trusting the process, knowing that consistency and patience will lead me to the success I envision. Every conversation, every connection, every small win, it all adds up. And I know I am building something meaningful.

Transparency is a cornerstone of my business. I believe in setting clear expectations and being upfront about where I am in my journey. That honesty helps build trust, and it’s the foundation for the strong, lasting relationships I am committed to creating with every client I serve.”

6. Do you have any advice for future (or existing) entrepreneurs?

“Absolutely: trust your journey, even when it looks different than you expected. Every experience, even the ones that do not work out; is preparing you for your next step. Stay open to new ideas, stay connected to your “why,” and do not be afraid to pivot if you need to.

Also, give yourself permission to grow slowly. Entrepreneurship is not a race, it is a personal, evolving journey. Surround yourself with people who support your vision, and do not underestimate the power of community and mentorship. The right conversations can open doors you never saw coming.

Progress, not perfection, is the goal. Your dream is worth the work, even when it takes time, and especially when it challenges you. Keep showing up, keep learning, and trust that every step is building something bigger than you can see right now.”
