On Wednesday, September 9th, 2020 LAEDA welcomed the 88th Session of the Entrepreneurial Development Training Program (EDTP) virtually through video conferencing. This marks the second virtual EDTP session since the COVID-19 pandemic. LAEDA welcomed fourteen new students from a pool of over one hundred applicants to this virtual business training program.

The orientation was hosted by Ray Lamboy, LAEDA’s CEO, and Kat Harrison, LAEDA’s Business Services Program Manager. The entire LAEDA staff was able to meet the students virtually and hear their backgrounds and business goals.

Dina Maldonado, Assistant Office Manager stated, “Keep going to achieve your goals, everything is possible when you put effort and dedication so take advantage of LAEDA and its resources.”

The night concluded with everyone learning how to navigate the online tools that will be used to attend class, review presentations, complete assignments, and correspond with students and instructors.

Eric Newman, LAEDA’s Business Services Assistant Program Manager stated “I was beyond impressed by the quality of students in this session of EDTP. Despite balancing their jobs, families, and the pandemic, they are demonstrating grit and perseverance to achieve their dreams.”
