The Chief Counsel for the U.S. Small Business Administration Office of Advocacy will visit with small business owners in Camden Thursday.

Dr. Winslow Sargeant will lead a roundtable discussion focused on transportation, technology and communications. The event — part of a national conversation on driving innovation in America — will take place from 5 to 6 p.m.

According to the SBA, Sargeant gains much-needed knowledge from small businesses across the country at events such as this. He then relays the feedback to the White House, Congress and federal agencies helping spur small-business innovation around the country.

The SBA is an independent voice for small business within the federal government. The presidentially appointed and Senate confirmed Chief Counsel for Advocacy works to advance the views, concerns and interests of small business.
