Camden, NJ- Amidst these trying times, aspiring entrepreneurs from South Jersey complete 5-part webinar series to aid in launching their businesses. LAEDA hosted the virtual version of the Summer Quick Start Series to individuals from a wide range of industry backgrounds. The program began on June 9th and concluded on July 7th. The 5-part series included Business Fundamentals, Credit Management, Business Planning, and Marketing.

Since the five-week program is open to the general public, approximately 35 individuals took advantage of the opportunity to start and/ or grow their business even in these demanding times. The five classes in the series are a stepping stone for many promising entrepreneurs who have an idea or existing business owners who want to learn new skills to enhance growth potential. After receiving certificates of completion, many go on to receive business counseling or consider applying for the nine-week training program.

“I was impressed with the positive energy and dedication demonstrated by our students. It was uplifting to see many individuals who are new to business or have not started their business coming up with creative ways to capitalize during this period of transition. We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with the summer Quick Start students and welcoming them into the LAEDA family,” stated Quick Start instructor and LBSC Assistant Program Manager Eric Newman.

LAEDA continues to provide relevant and impactful educational programs and business counseling to the community in South Jersey. It also strives to offer bilingual programs and services to the public.
