Bridgeton, NJ – On Tuesday, October 19, 2021, the Bridgeton Area Chamber of Commerce hosted LAEDA President & CEO Ray Lamboy as the guest speaker for their event Downtown Revitalization: Hope for the Future.
The event, sponsored by Sungensis Insurance Agency, was held at Terrigno’s Fairfield Inn in Bridgeton, NJ. In attendance were members of the business community, representatives from higher education, elected officials, Board President, Bridgeton Main Street, and other stakeholders.
Lamboy shared about LAEDA’s experience in their Community Economic Development Strategy and how to leverage entrepreneurship as a catalyst for revitalization in the local community.
“It’s important to ensure that the business owners buy into the revitalization effort, it’s important to ask questions and understand the needs, and then respond to those needs,” explains Lamboy.
