Camden, NJ- As part of its continued commitment to the Latin community, LAEDA hosted the five week Quick Start Series in Spanish. The program began on January 10th with the ABC’s of Stating a Small Business at the Salvation Army KROC Center in Camden. The series continued with Business Plan I, Business Plan II, and Marketing. The last class, Credit Management, was the night to present the certificates to all the participants who attended three or more classes. Certificates were presented to 17 people who represented 16 business in the community. The participants received the information and talked about using it and business counseling to forward their endeavors.

“The level of commitment shown by the students in the series was one of the high points of the series,” stated EDTP Assistant Program Manager Alejandro Cruz.  Each night of class someone brought snacks for entire group which fostered interaction and networking. This also allowed them build relationships that could, potentially, turn into business opportunities and partnerships.
