Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) covers businesses against claims by workers that their legal rights as employees of the company have been violated. With heightened public awareness of sexual misconduct and the #MeToo movement, the number of lawsuits filed by employees against their employers has been rising. While most suits are filed against large corporations, no company is immune to such lawsuits. Recognizing that smaller companies now need this kind of protection, some insurers provide this coverage as an endorsement to their Business Owners Policy (BOP).

Watch this recording to learn how to protect your brand while growing your revenue. Thomas Herndon, founding and managing member of Brooks, Berne & Herndon PLLC, will discuss critical reasons for Employment Practice Liability Insurance (EPLI) and what it covers. Denise A. Smith, founder of HRthePARTNER will cover basic HR Risk Management Programs to reduce your threat of employee claims while you grow your business.
